This ensures maximum efficiency and cost savings.

Led by a licensed architect and with the partnership of our award-winning interior designers, the Collective architecture team has the skills and experience to tackle a wide range of home design projects. We are located in Frisco, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, where the conditions are both uniquely challenging and inspiringly beautiful. Our experience here has shaped us into experts at designing homes that both defy and embrace the natural surrounding elements.

Our team excels in creatively pushing the envelope in terms of design progression and innovation, without ever forcing a client to leave their budgetary or aesthetic comfort zone. This wholistic approach results in homes that are progressive, contemporary, and completely reflective of each client’s individual needs.

Zane Levin - Architect

Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Zane moved to Colorado to study environmental design and architecture in 2009. Ultimately, graduating with his Masters of Architecture from The University of Colorado, Zane found his way to Summit County to pursue his dream of designing mountain homes in 2015 and recently received his certification. Apart from his love for architecture and design, Zane is also a state champion disc golfer in the summer, and an avid life-long skier come winter. He finds himself traveling the world for all these passions whenever he can do so.

Pipsa Happo - Architect

Originally from northern Finland, Pipsa has studied architecture in three different countries and finally moved to Colorado in 2013 to finish her master’s at UC Denver. Her dad being a contractor, she grew up on construction sites and developed a passion for design, always embracing the related technical and practical challenges. From a ski town herself, she felt as though years in the city working on a combination of residential and commercial architecture were enough and when given the opportunity to join the Pinnacle team and move to the mountains, she could've not been happier. When not working or watching dog videos, she is most likely mountain biking, rafting, or snowboarding - usually with her wild chocolate lab Murphy Michael as her sidekick.

Tyler Mikolajczak - Architectural Manager

Originally from the Glass city (Toledo, OH), Tyler moved to Colorado after finishing his studies in architecture, to pursue his passion for the mountains in 2011. He has been designing mountain homes here in Summit County for the past 6 years. When he is not in the office you will find him biking, snowboarding, or climbing.

Josh Mazar - Architectural Designer

Originally from Denver Colorado, Josh went on to study Environmental Design at the University of Colorado. After graduating he decided to live out a life long dream to design homes in the mountains and joined the Pinnacle team. When he's not in the office, you'll find him mostly on the water fly fishing and camping, playing hockey, or on the slopes skiing with friends and family.

David Rynes - VP, Project Development

David was born into an entrepreneurial spirit, starting work at a young age in his family’s business – an amusement park – just outside of Chicago.  He further cultivated his work ethic, leadership skills, and engineering background in Annapolis, MD, at the United States Naval Academy.  During that time, he also met his beautiful wife, Adrienne, on a blind date.  After a relocation to Adrienne’s home town, David started his own residential construction business, where he further applied his skill set toward creating stunning homes.  After over a decade of running his own business, David and his family decided it was time to fulfill their long time goal of living in the mountains of Colorado, and joined the team in the Summer of 2018.

Elle Schwab - Associate Designer

Originally from Michigan, Elle moved to Colorado after graduating with a degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University. Once in Colorado, she went back to school for interior design at FRCC, earning an Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer certification. For the past three years, Elle has been living in Summit County working at Collective and wouldn’t have it any other way. Currently she and her husband are in the midst of building their own home with the help of her GC father-in-law and a lot of sweat equity!
